Krone Plate Gap-Type Filter for Gap widths ≥ 0,1 mm

When it comes to increasing the service life of medium or high-viscosity fluids, plate gap-type filters are a truly expert choice.

The plate gap-type filter element comprises ring-shaped steel plates that are arrayed on a central pin. Spacer shims between the plates determine the gap width. A fixed gap cleaner reaches into every gap. During the flow through the plates, the dirt particles in the fluid being filtered deposit on the surface and in the gaps. If the filter element is rotated via the handle, the deposited dirt and contamination settles on the row of gap areas and sinks into the sludge collection chamber, where it is removed by opening a ball valve.
