High-quality compressed air treatment
Air oil separators are important quality components in the compressed air treatment chain.
Today, compressed air is indispensable in industrial operations. Compressors and vacuum pumps are used in the construction industry, in mechanical engineering, and in highly sensitive areas such as the food, pharmaceutical, and electrical industries, as well as in chemistry and medicine.
Principle of operation
Air oil separators work on the "coalescence principle." Micro-glass fiber layers separate oil droplets from the compressed air. The separation process is effective down to the submicron range. This keeps oil consumption in the compressor systems and oil contamination in the compressed air networks to a minimum. Vaporous oil components are not separated.
Air oil separators can be used with all types of lubricating oil commonly used in compressors, regardless of whether they are mineral, synthetic, or semi-synthetic products.
