TURBO® II PRECLEANER
The Turbo II Precleaner is the only precleaner that attracts dirty air through the protective screen on the top of the unit. The unit was developed in 1980 and patented in the same year. The carefully designed blades are angled and overlapping on the inside. This allows the pure flowing air to rotate and separate the impurities from the air by centrifugal force. The impurities are directed from the main chamber into the wider lower chamber, where they are conveyed at high speed through a spindle nozzle to the outside. In summary, the increased circulation allows the air to be passed on to the air filter as well as possible, freed from dirt and impurities. The design offers a good balance between restrictions and efficiency. The Turbo II Precleaner is available in four different sizes: with airflow ranging from 2.8 to 31.1 cubic metres per minute or 100 to 1100 CFM .

TURBO® III PRECLEANER
The Turbo III Precleaner is the latest generation of precleaners and is designed and manufactured with the polymer Perlon (Nylon 6). It uses the same technology in cleaning using centrifugal force as the Turbo II Precleaner. The Turbo III Precleaner offers the same advantages as the Turbo II Precleaner, but is much lighter due to the lack of weight of the metal units. In addition, the new patented "stacked vane" configuration has even improved the level of cleanliness of the air by preventing the blow-through effect in other polymer units. The Turbo III is currently available in five different sizes, with airflow ranging from 0.4 to 31.1 cubic metres per minute, or 15 to 1100 CFM. In addition, the Turbo III Precleaner is also available as an "inline" model for mounting the precleaner under the bonnet, so that the engine is always supplied with fresh air.

POWER RAM™
The Power Ram is a rugged, heavy-duty precleaner for a variety of applications where directional flow is desired. The Power Ram Pre-Cleaner offers a wide flow range and strikes a good compromise between excellent efficiency and low restriction. The Power Ram can be used on a wide range of machines including construction, mining and on-road applications. The Power Ram uses the RAM effect to achieve high pre-separation of contaminants and the air. This significantly extends the life of your primary air filter. The Power Ram is currently available in three different sizes with airflow ranging from 1.4 to 51 cubic metres per minute, or 50 to 1800 CFM.

Construction and operation of a turbo precleaner:

1. When designing the turbo precleaner, care was taken to allow the air flowing in to rotate.
   
2. As the air rotates, it is separated from insects, dirt, dust, rain and snow by centrifugal force.
   
3. The impurities separated from the air are transported outside at high speed through special openings.
   
4. Only the purified air is passed on to the air filter at the end.
